Hey girls!  If you’re between the ages of 13 and 19, wear a size between 12 and 20 and are 5’9″ to 6’1″ in height, then Tyra Banks wants you!  The finalists for the first “Fiercely Real Teen Model Search” will be announced during “The Tyra Show” March 2 and the winner crowned the next day.  She will receive a one-year modeling contract and photo shoot with a magazine.

“I’ve always felt it was my mission to expand the narrow perceptions of beauty,” she said.  “Plus-sized tends to have a negative connotation and I want young girls to realize that what’s considered plus-sized is the average American woman. That woman is healthy, fit and beautiful. Adolescence is such an impressionable time in a young woman’s life, and I hope this contest helps teen girls discover their own beauty from the inside out.”

Martin Lawrence producing TV One comedy series

Martin LawrenceMartin Lawrence will executive produce a new comedy series, “Love That Girl!” that will premiere Jan. 19 on the TV One Network.  The show is described as a sexy comedy following a young divorcee who returns home to Southern California and takes a job in her father’s real estate business and lives with her unemployed brother.  Tatyana Ali (“The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”) stars in the series.

Series writer-director Bentley Kyle Evans and other executive producers such as Raphael Saadiq self-financed four episodes of “Love That Girl!” on a shoestring budget of $1.2 million.
