“Basketball Wives LA” premieres this summer

This summer, get ready for a new cast of basketball wives. This time from Los Angeles as the successful VH1 series launches another installment.
 
“Basketball Wives LA” premieres Aug. 29 and includes a member of the original Miami cast, Gloria Govan, who is the fiancée of Los Angeles Laker Matt Barnes. Govan will be joined by her sister, Laura Govan as well as Kimsha Artest, wife of Los Angeles Laker Ron Artest; Jackie Christie, wife of Doug Christie, former player for the Los Angeles Clippers; and Imani Showalter, ex-fiancée of Charlotte Bobcats’ Stephen Jackson.
 
Shaunie O’Neal, former wife of Shaquille O’Neal, is an executive producer of the popular show.

Iman replaces Kelly Rowland as ‘Fashion Show’ host

As “The Fashion Show” gears up for its second season, Bravo has made some personnel changes.  Model Iman will replace Kelly Rowland as co-host alongside fashion designer Isaac Mizrahi.
 
“I am so excited to be joining the Bravo team and to be working again with Isaac Mizrahi, my close friend of many, many years,” Iman said.  “I am also looking forward to all of the behind-the-scenes excitement and drama that is generated through the creative process of these undiscovered fashion designers. This will certainly be a show any follower of fashion will want to see.”

Lin Yu Chin amazed viewers on the Taiwanese reality show, “Super Star Avenue,” with his rendition of  Whitney Houston’s version of “I Will Always Love You.”  He is now a Youtube hit with more than one million views.

Brandy and Ray J to star in family reality show

Get ready to see more Ray J.  His sister, Brandy and his parents will join him in the new VH1 series, “Brandy and Ray J: A Family Business.”  The show will follow Brandy as she records her new album with producer Timbaland and raises her seven-year-old daughter Sy’rai.  Viewers can also see their mother Sonja manage the careers of the siblings as well as other artists.  Ray J will be featured working on a new project with Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins and other producers.
 
Catch the Norwood family in the VH1 series premiere on Sunday, April 11 at 9 p.m.
