Erykah Badu charged over ‘Window Seat’ video

Erykah Badu was charged with disorderly conduct for filming her “Window Seat” video, where she removes her clothing while walking in downtown Dallas.  She eventually is nude in front of Dealey Plaza where President John F. Kennedy was assassinated.  The charge is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of up to $500.  Check an earlier Suite 411 post of the video here.
 
Badu appeared on The Wanda Sykes Show this weekend and discussed the video.  Check out Sykes hilarious parody named “Middle Seat” around the 3:36 mark.

Video: Beyonce and Lady Gaga ‘Telephone’

Well it is finally here!  The anticipated video for Lady GaGa and Beyonce’s “Telephone.” Tyrese is also featured in the video.  Lady Gaga explains the concept of the video to E! News.
 
“I wanted to do the same thing [as ‘Paparazzi’] with this video,” said the 23-year-old singer who added that the Quentin Tarantino-inspired clip is a commentary on American culture.  “Take a decidedly pop song, which on the surface has a quite shallow meaning, and turn it into something deeper; the idea that America is full of young people that are inundated with information and technology, and turn it into something that was more of a commentary on the kind of country that we are.”
