A second member of Destiny’s Child has parted ways with Music World Management — Beyonce’s father Matthew Knowles’ management company. Kelly Rowland ended her professional relationship about a year ago and now group member Michelle Williams is following suit.
“From my time in Destiny’s Child to my solo career, I am grateful for everything Mathew and his team has done for me,” Williams said in a statement. “We’ve shared great success together. However, as I move in a new direction in my career, I felt it was time. I wish Mathew Knowles and the Music World Entertainment family all the best.”
Williams is returning to Broadway Feb. 8 as Roxie Hart in the play Chicago.
Didn’t we all see this coming. I mean, Matthew has always been partial to his real and adopted daughter (Kelly). He always seems to be focusing on putting Beyonce in the for front of everything. I have not seen Michelle being promoted at all since the group split. We all know that this is the chick with the real vocals.
