R.Kelly opened the FIFA World Cup recently in South Africa with a spirited performance of his song, “Sign of Victory,” along with the Soweto Spiritual Singers. “Sign of Victory” is the official anthem of the 2010 World Cup.

Ok. The song a little weak but I get the message. What was up with him starting his performance with that gladiator hood on his head. The performance looked spectacular with the white robbed choir singer and the dancers and all the other folks out there on stage at that time. R. Kelly is talented but I cannot seperate the man from the mistake. I was a little surprised HE was chosen for the song but I think they were looking for another “I believe I can fly”. It’s in him but THIS wasn’t it.
