Trey Songz joins Jay-Z on tour

treysongz-160_600x800_watermark1R&B singer Trey Songz is the newest artist added to Jay-Z’s Blueprint 3 tour.  The second leg of the tour begins Feb. 20 and ends March 27 in Las Vegas.  Young Jeezy will also be on the tour, reports Honeymag.com.  Here is Trey during a photo shoot for the cover of the publication.

Drake signs to Lil Wayne’s record label

Riding high with the success of his current single, “Best I Ever Had,” Canadian rapper Drake has signed to Lil Wayne’s record label, Young Money Entertainment.  His debut album, “Thank Me Later,” is scheduled to be released later this year and features Lil Wayne, Jay-Z and Kanye West, reports Billboard.  Drake will also tour this summer with Lil Wayne as part of the “Young Money Presents: Americas Most Wanted Music Festival.”

The Dream and Keyshia Cole to tour

Singer and producer The Dream announced that he will tour with R&B singer Keyshia Cole this summer, reports Billboard.  The tour will kick off May 13 in Cincinnati and conclude in Las Vegas on June 21.  On May 15, the two will perform at the Chicago Theater.

Lauryn Hill to perform at European summer festival

As part of her 10-city European summer tour, Lauryn Hill will headline the Stockholm Jazz Festival in July, reports Billboard.  It is one of the country’s biggest summer events and is expected to attract 30,000 people.  Previous artists at the fest include Mary J. Blige, Stevie Wonder and Ella Fitzgerald.

This will be Hill’s second time headlining the fest and the first time she has publicly performed since 2007. Last January, Hill gave birth to her fifth child with Rohan Marley, Bob Marley’s son.
