‘The Game’ star joins cast of ‘Burn Notice’

The USA spy series, “Burn Notice” will get a little color during its fourth season, which begins June 3rd.  Coby Bell, star of the series,”The Game,” will join the cast as burned CIA spy Jesse Garcia.

 

“[Jesse] has a sort of similar quest to [the main character] Michael as he’s trying to find out who burned him,” creator Matt Nix told TV Guide Magazine.  “Michael faces the issue of having this new best friend who he’s also lying to, it really shakes him up and changes a lot of the relationships on the show.”

Vanessa Williams to join ‘Desperate Housewives’

Vanessa Williams is back on TV.  After the end of the series “Ugly Betty” last month, the actress has signed on to join “Desperate Housewives” this fall.
 
The 47-year-old mother of four is currently starring in the Broadway play “Sondheim on Sondheim” through June.
 
“I’m a big fan of Vanessa’s work and I’m so excited that she’ll be moving into the neighborhood next season to cause trouble in all the ladies’ lives,” said “Desperate Housewives” creator Marc Cherry.

Iman replaces Kelly Rowland as ‘Fashion Show’ host

As “The Fashion Show” gears up for its second season, Bravo has made some personnel changes.  Model Iman will replace Kelly Rowland as co-host alongside fashion designer Isaac Mizrahi.
 
“I am so excited to be joining the Bravo team and to be working again with Isaac Mizrahi, my close friend of many, many years,” Iman said.  “I am also looking forward to all of the behind-the-scenes excitement and drama that is generated through the creative process of these undiscovered fashion designers. This will certainly be a show any follower of fashion will want to see.”

Lin Yu Chin amazed viewers on the Taiwanese reality show, “Super Star Avenue,” with his rendition of  Whitney Houston’s version of “I Will Always Love You.”  He is now a Youtube hit with more than one million views.

Erykah Badu charged over ‘Window Seat’ video

Erykah Badu was charged with disorderly conduct for filming her “Window Seat” video, where she removes her clothing while walking in downtown Dallas.  She eventually is nude in front of Dealey Plaza where President John F. Kennedy was assassinated.  The charge is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of up to $500.  Check an earlier Suite 411 post of the video here.
