Denzel Washington is starring in the Broadway production of August Wilson’s Fences, which opened Monday night. Washington plays the lead role Troy Maxson, a Pittsburgh garbage collector struggling with racism in 1957. Viola Davis plays his wife Rose.
What a talented man. Denzel is excellent on the big screen and I am sure his Broadway performance won’t disappoint. I am happy for him. He probably appreciates the change. I would love to see the show.
