Robin Thicke vows to “Get Her Back”

Crooner Robin Thicke has dropped his new video,”Get Her Back” a song dedicated to his estranged wife, actress Paula Patton.

A bloody Thicke appears in the video that shows text messages seemingly between him and his wife. The couple have been married for eight years and have a have a three-year-old son named Julian Fuego.

Thicke’s album, “Paula,” is set to drop July 1.

Kevin Hart stars in “The Wedding Ringer” movie

Fresh off the No. 1 box office success this weekend of “Think Like a Man Too,” Kevin Hart has a new movie, “The Wedding Ringer” set to hit theaters early next year.

Hart plays the character Jimmy, who provides best man services for grooms.  Actor Josh Gad plays the role of Doug Harris, who needs Jimmy’s help in finding a best man and groomsmen as his wedding approaches.  “The Big Bang Theory” actress, Kaley Cuoco plays the bride.

“The Wedding Ringer” is scheduled to hit movie theaters Jan. 16, 2015.

En Vogue, Joe and Erica Campbell perform at 100 Black Men conference

R&B group En Vogue, soul crooner Joe and gospel singer Erica Campbell rocked the crowd at the 28th annual 100 Black Men of America conference this past weekend in Hollywood,Florida.

Joe got the couples dancing Saturday when he crooned some of his hits including, “All the Things (Your Man Won’t Do),” “More & More,” and “Good Girls.”  He recently released a duet “Love and Sex (Part 2),” featuring Kelly Rowland,  from his upcoming CD, “Bridges,” that will hit stores on June 23.

Erica Campbell belted out her singles, “Help,” and “Little More Jesus,” from her solo album also entitled “Help.”

En Vogue proved they still got the pipes when they sung their hits, which included  “Hold On,” “Don’t Let Go” and “Free Your Mind.” Original members Dawn Robinson and Maxine Jones are no longer with the group.  Rhona Bennett, who starred in “The Jamie Foxx Show,” joined the remaining members Terry Ellis and Cindy Herron.
